Michelle received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990 and her Bachelor of Arts in English from Cornell University. She has devoted most of her career to working in the public interest. Prior to joining UCF, Michelle worked as a senior attorney for a legal services program representing the indigent in Orange County, Florida. She also taught in a local paralegal studies program. Michelle is very active in voluntary bar activities, and is a former Chair of the Equal Opportunities Law Section of the Florida Bar. She is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, the Middle District of the U.S. District Court.
